2020 Update: Just finished my first graphic novel, Savior. A philosophical fiction story in which a gifted young child explores the mesmerising surreal landscape of her mind to find an answer to one of life’s paradoxes: how do you stop destruction without being destructive yourself. Sam writes stories, short stories. Stories with a twist, to show us that the dark side is never that far removed from whom we really are. In telling stories he expresses his love for the humor of tragedy. Sam also believes in shock, but is still looking for the awe.

Sam creates images, graphic images. In these creations he tries to balance perfection with real perfection. Sometimes he succeeds, mostly only for a minute or two.

Shockinglyshortstories.com is a reflection of Samness. Short stories combined with graphic images that refer to something in the stories without telling the story all over again.
